Helen Peters joined Gizzi Reep Foley in March 2012, bringing twenty five years of family law experience to the firm. She previously served as the President of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the Family Law Section, and the Women’s Section.

When not actively mediating family law matters, Helen serves as a judge pro tem for the Contra Costa Superior Court and as an arbitrator for the Contra Costa County Bar Association. She is an adjunct faculty member at John F. Kennedy College of Law, teaching California Community Property. She recently completed a four year term as an elected Trustee to the Fairfield Suisun Unified School District.
