Stephen Gizzi is a longtime business owner, mediator, mediation instructor, and practicing attorney. He is former vice mayor and city councilman for the city of Benicia. He has also chaired the Benicia Planning Commission. In 2010, Steve was sworn in as President of the Solano County Bar Association, having served as Vice-President the preceding year.
Scott D Reep has been a practicing attorney for over 20 years and a licensed real estate broker for over 12 years. He is a past-president of the Rotary Club of Benicia and serves on the board of directors of the Benicia Education Foundation and the Benicia Library Foundation.
Both attorneys serve as special legal counsel to the city of Benicia and volunteer in numerous civic endeavors.

Award-Winning Service
In early 2008, Gizzi & Reep, LLP was selected to complete an evaluation of the Solano County Superior Court's existing mediation, arbitration and other ADR programs, and to make constructive recommendations for future enhancements to the program. The final report was heralded by the Court as being very sucessful for providing an accurate assessment of the existing programs, and outlining a detailed roadmap for future improvements. As a direct result of this report, the Court formed an ADR Committee with special subcommittees for mediation, arbitration, small claims mediation and mandatory early settlement conferences. Each committee has established specific goals and objectives for every one of the programs. It is anticipated that this increased focus on ADR in the Courts will result in more pre-trial settlements, which ultimately means a reduced caseload for our overburdened judicial officers.
Based on this work and the firm's high ethical standards, Gizzi & Reep, LLP was awarded the Solano County Bar Association Law Firm of the Year for 2008.
